Dance Studio Policies & Procedures

Tuition and Fees:

  • Drop-Ins are $20 per class. Payment must be received prior to taking class.
  • Monthly tuition is in equal monthly payments and is due on the first of every month for the 12 months calendar year. Late fees may incur a surcharge. Some monthly sessions have 5 dance classes. Tuition is calculated based on the number of times a class meets per month. For example, when a class meets 5 times in one month, you will pay for five classes in that month. Fees can be paid using our online payment methods, cash or check. There will be a $15 late fee applied to the account balance for payments received after the tenth of every month. There is a $25 returned check charge for any checks returned by the bank. We do not prorate months for missed days or holidays. Enrolment is month to month.  If at any time you wish to withdraw from monthly enrolment, you must notify 4PM Dance in writing and acknowledge that there is 30 days paid notice required. Notice period will start once the written notice is received by 4PM DANCE.
  • Class cards are $150 for 10 classes. Credits may be transferred to other members of the family only. Credits may not be used for master classes.
  • There are no refunds given for missed classes due to illness, natural disasters or personal commitments. Students will be allowed to make up any classes missed in any appropriate class of their choice at any time within the calendar year.

Attendance:

  • Students should always attend dance class.

Class Observation:

  • We appreciate our dance families and their support. You are all welcome inside the dance room. We only ask that you view their child’s progress in a manner that is not distracting to the class or the students’ learning.

Code of Conduct:

  • At 4PM we are committed to providing a positive, safe, and welcoming environment that seeks not only to instil a love of dance in our students, but also teach important life skills as well – respect, commitment, reliability and teamwork. To ensure a happy and positive experience for our dancers and families, we ask that students and families conduct themselves in a positive manner while at 4PM Dance and at all performances and events in which 4PM Dance is being represented. Proper respect for our instructors and staff is expected of all students and families.
