Originally from Seoul, South Korea, Yeonjung Chang trained at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow for 11 years. She competed in the 10th Moscow International Ballet Competition, earning an Honorary Diploma, and later danced as a soloist for the Imperial Russian Ballet, performing internationally in productions like The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, and Romeo and Juliet. In 2014, Yeonjung earned her specialist degree in Dance Pedagogy and Choreography with Honors from the Bolshoi Ballet Academy. She has since taught at Hanyang University in Seoul and lectured for the Universal Ballet's Ballet Teachers Training Program. Since 2007, Yeonjung has instructed summer intensive programs worldwide, including in Brazil, Russia, Italy, the USA, and South Korea.
